Night is my enemy. At night, there is no shield. I am left with myself and the only thing night offers: darkness. And in this darkness, I am forced to see what I try to ignore. In the darkness all my pain, all my regrets and sins and turmoil are at eye level. In the day it is easy to look away. To turn from them and find company in another.
